Brimham Rocks, North Yorkshire, formed 318 Million years ago. A Millstone Grit outcrop, which has been eroded by harsh periods of weather, such as glacial melt and sand blasting winds. The site is interspersed with small areas of woodland and a large area of wet and dry heathland. To me the location has a "surreal atmosphere and feels pre-historic"
